Very relaxing place

We had a great time at le Petit Duc Gîte. The house is lovely decorated and the owners very helpful to discover the region. The pool was very appreciated by us and our 2 kids (9 and 5yo). Great place for family vacation with lots to discover in the region!

Bonelli's paradise

Beautiful and unique place on a great spot! The gite is amazing! Authentic from the outside and very modern and stylish from the insight. Well equipped. Everything you need and more is there, it feels like a very luxury suite. The weather was great, we lived most off the time in the garden with pool until late at night. Romantic pool lighting and outdoor cooking facilities on the gasgrill. Some much to do. We loved biking, there is almost no traffic, great tracks. Surrounded by nature ( here you really can hear the silence) between the vines ( very good wines ) and millions of stars to see at night. Stuart and Jacquie are superhost. They helped us around and gave great restaurants tips. They are there when you need them, you have 100% privacy. We loved every minute off our stay. Hope to come back soon!

Stuart and Jacquie have a beautiful place in the mountainside surrounded by vineyards. The house it fantastic, and we had the pool area by ourselves the whole week. You will be very well taken care of by the hosts, they had always god ideas of what to do and see. Back to Nature

Bonelli's Gîte is named after the eagles that nest in a nearby gorge. The house is part of the quiet hamlet of La Roueyre, where traffic amounts to a couple of cars per day and the rare noise is made by starlings and swifts. Although you will feel far away from anywhere and anyone, it's only a 15-minute drive to the shops and a number of excellent local restaurants, where you can have a hearty cassoulet. Hosts Stuart and Jacquie will be happy to give advice and directions and help you with anything else - while always remaining discreet. You can go for an easy stroll in the rustic landscape around La Roueyere, drive along the endless rows of vines (which yield an excellent Muscat, the pride of the region), climb one of the many hilltops for stunning views of the Mediterranean and the snow-capped Pyrenees, or visit medieval Carcassonne and Narbonne. No matter if you prefer birds, insects or reptiles, the wildlife is bountiful, and Stuart will be very happy to point out where to look for certain species or rarities. Peace and quiet is easily found until late in the evening around the heated outdoor pool and private sitting area, or indoors in the comfortable 2-bedroom gîte with a large bathroom, living room and kitchen. We (3 adults) had a wonderful week, enjoying the rich birdlife, an abundance of butterflies, the soothing surroundings (and produce) of the Minervois, and some great laughs with Stuart, Jacquie and their children.
